Alphabet - Artifical Light

There's a lot wrong with social media. To say it's a toxic mess of idealism and deceit would be pretty much on the money but sometimes it's beautiful harmonic place where organic art can grow and flourish. That's a pretty heavy opening paragraph for a short single review but it leads me onto my discovery of the fantastic Alphabet and their debut single Artifical Light.  I stumbled across these guys over one of the platforms either Instagram or Twitter and was so so impressed after listening to this track. There's so much out there at the moment and I listen to lots and lots of music that at times everything can all blend into one but these guys stand out and they do by a mile. They've manage to create a dreamy, almost synthy bubble here kind of Foals like but then turn the track on its head with some heavy, punky, guitars that really add nuance and depth. The vocals etch away along the side of the rhythmic synth melody creating a haunting echoing presence. Artif...
