Matilda Shakes - Fast Lane

"Do you wanna Rock n Roll?" That's the question Sheffield based rockers Matilda Shakes ask us early on in their new single Fast Lane  out today June 24th and the answer, quite clearly is yes.. With heavily distorted guitars and a rhythmic drum beat there's serious Black Keys vibes from these guys which I like. Their sound isn't "clean" but what rock n roll is meant to be? Vocals are good and suit their style of play and are sung to the tempo of the lyrics well. After all the track is called Fast Lane. I'd love to see these guys live as they clearly know their stuff and are producing great tracks like this consistently now (check out their back catalouge) Check these guys out on all your streaming services and on Twitter @MatildaShakes AB
